Mainly AND SUCH
This post is not much about food, but ways you may be able to save yourself from e. coli and salmonella, etc. in the food which has had no refrigeration, and may have been questionable in the first place. It is about herbs, spices and condiments which many have had in the cupboard but which have been used rarely if at all, and can keep us alive no matter what we eat.

Do not worry about food. We can last for 3-6 days without water but with food, we can last 21 days. People have done a week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks of fasting with water only. These herbs and condiments will keep you alive way past the 21 days. I am not a nutritionist. However, if you eat whatever you have with a small amount of the items below, you can survive a long time. And for protein, see this article with charts giving Combination of foods create full protein Here. These charts are valuable even if you are not a vegan.

Things which you may have or not which will save you in a crunch are below. I use 2 or more on each meal, or all that I have if I start feeling I ate something which was questionable. These may have kept me out of the ICU on many occasions, and are the basis of the potential for living to the legendary 120.

The following herts and condiments are antibacterial, anti-fungal, fights excessive or chronic inflammation, and can keep you alive when all else fails. See references below for 9 Herbs and Spices That Fight Inflammation.

THE LIST
1 Turmeric / curcumin (the active component which gives it a yellow color) and a dash of black pepper. This is the main herb in the curry used in India and other countries. The amounts are not critical, The importance - that they are used together. Otherwise, the curcumin goes zipping right through the body. Of hyper-importance is you have it. Good curry has both plus. Be sure you buy from trusted company. Find someone who has it. I would trade some pretty valuable stuff for it.
Start slowly. Work up to about a heaping teaspoon full on each meal. Put it on one part of the food so the taste is not on everything. This is, in my mind, the number 1 spice on the planet
Save your mind, your body and everything in between - turmeric / curcumin - and a dash of black pepper.

4 Oregano dried or fresh "a herb with antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial"

5 Salt - Our bodies cannot run without salt

6 Although not a spice, coconut oil contains all of the safeguard properties. Use it in frying, on salads with olive oil , instead of butter on bread with jam, etc.

We often do not think of it this way, but herbs are food - the very best food we have on planet earth, with the highest quality of nutrients which is why so little portions are sufficient.

If you want backup for the above and really want to know the names of all the creatures these herbs protect you against with actual experimentation,

"Many spices—such as clove, oregano, thyme, cinnamon, and cumin—have been applied to treat infectious diseases or protect food because they were experimentally proved to possess antimicrobial activities against pathogenic and spoilage fungi and bacteria. Moreover, the secondary metabolites of these spices are known as antimicrobial agents, the majority of which are generally recognized as safe materials for food with insignificant adverse effects."

Experimentation with Oregano
Agents in Food Packaging
The antimicrobial effects of pure EOs of four spices and chitosan-EOs films on L. monocytogenes and E. coli were evaluated in vitro by agar diffusion test. The antimicrobial activities of EOs alone and incorporated in the films were similar following the order: oregano > coriander > basil > anise. When used in inoculated bologna samples at 10 °C and stored for five days, pure chitosan films led to 2 log reduction of L. monocytogenes, 3.6–4 log reduction of L. monocytogenes, and 3 log reduction of E. coli were observed in films incorporated with 1% and 2% oregano EO.

Antibacterial and Antifungal Activities of Spices Geremew et al. Examined the antimicrobial activities of six spice crude extracts (acetone, ethanol, and hexane extracts) against E. coli, S. aureus, S. flexneri, and Streptococcus pneumoniae by the agar well diffusion method.
Note: curcumin (turmeric) will be treated in a separate link. We can survive on almost anything for the time necessary to get the grid back up. There are a lot of boxes or cans of cooked beans which have a fairly good expiration date.

What Is Refeeding?
"Refeeding syndrome affects people who do not receive enough nutrition.
This may be because of:
starvation
malnourishment
extreme diets
fasting
famine"
"Refeeding syndrome can develop when someone who is malnourished begins to eat again. The syndrome occurs because of the reintroduction of glucose, or sugar. As the body digests and metabolizes food again, this can cause sudden shifts in the balance of electrolytes and fluids. These shifts can cause severe complications, and the syndrome can be fatal.

It can take as few as 5 successive days of malnourishment for a person to be at risk of refeeding syndrome."
