A radical new approach to giving. You find someone who desperately needs help for any number of reasons. You give a helping hand in exchange for a promise from the receiver that after a set date, the money will be passed on to someone else in need of help. It is important for them to know that the financial aid given will, in fact, provide a basis for that to happen.

Second, they need to be confident that you are who you say you are, and really need the help. Therefore, any background you can give would be helpful, as well as a reference or two which can be checked out.

Third, you need to account for the reasons for your situation, and specific ways to prevent this from happening again in the future, plus actively starting to put these into practice.

Forth, you need to find the talents, the experiences, and the desires which will make any step forward a movement toward an achievable goal. Everyone has something which they like doing, are good at, or have some expertise or experience which is not being used at the present time. All of these may be made profitable even in the worst of times. It is important that you convey this sense of self knowledge to anyone seriously considering helping you.

Fifth, the specific steps (not in detail, but in general), which will be taken to realize the stated goals towards sustainability, need to be presented. In this regard, realistic assessments of the possibilities or opportunities which actually exist within you and within your environment need to be made.

When you have worked all these out, go out there and ask.

<hr noshade pixels(40)>
to top
Working at home

First, places where you can check to see if a program is spam
Before you buy a book, or a program, or sign up for a sure-fire-make-lots-of-money-fast offer on the web for work at home programs, check a number of sites with scam lists before you possibly lose your money. Extra capital for helping your business grow. Article about On Deck On Deck - Lending, With a Twist "... the company has an offbeat system of evaluating borrowers. Instead of looking at a snapshot of performance, such as an applicant's tax returns, On Deck uses software to examine a company's daily business activity. The software figures out, among other things, how many customers the business has, how many complaints it gets and how its sales surge and sag. The idea is to gauge cash flow and see if the company is stable enough to pay back a loan. On Deck's methods of collecting payments are just as unusual. Instead of sending out monthly notices, the company electronically debits small amounts every day from borrowers -- usually about $100 -- to pay back the loan over a year."
Kiva Provides a platform connecting individuals who want to help small entrepreneurs in developing countries. Short-term international volunteer projects are one way by which we hope to achieve these aims. Our International Volunteer Programme offers 16-30 year olds the opportunity to join international teams of volunteers working on short-term projects in over 50 countries world-wide. The project range is diverse and includes nature conservation, restoration, archaeology, construction, art and culture as well as projects that are more socially based including working with adults or children with special needs, children's playschemes and teaching. Volunteers pay a registration fee of £110 and fund their own travel. Board and accommodation is free of charge. All available projects are currently listed on the website.
Volunteer.gov U.S. Building America's Communities of Service.
